Privacy policy
Last updated: October 16, 2026.
We collect as little as we can. This page explains what, why, who else sees it, and how to control it. Questions or requests: [email protected].
1. What we collect
- Email address (and, for the waitlist, which product you are interested in) when you sign up for the free brief or a waitlist. This is used to send what you asked for.
- Payment and billing information when you buy. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us; we do not see or store card numbers. We receive from Stripe your email, name or billing details you enter, the product bought, amount, date, and subscription status.
- Messages you send us, for example support emails to [email protected], and what you choose to include in them.
- Discord details (your Discord username/ID) if you join our server or we grant you a paid role.
- Basic technical data. Like any website, our host (Cloudflare) receives your IP address, browser type and the pages requested when your browser loads the site. This is used to deliver the site and keep it secure.
We do not ask for your brokerage account details, trading history or government ID, and we do not collect any special categories of data.
2. Analytics, cookies and tracking
- No analytics or advertising trackers. This site does not currently run Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social-media trackers or session-recording tools. If we later add privacy-friendly analytics we will say so here first.
- No cookies set by us. The site itself does not set cookies and does not use browser storage to track you. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie for bot protection. Stripe and Discord, when you visit their pages, use their own cookies under their own policies.
- Because we don't track you across sites, we don't respond to a "Do Not Track" signal differently, and there is nothing to opt out of on this site.
3. How we use your information
- To send the brief, waitlist and product emails you asked for, and to deliver what you bought (documents, access, Discord role).
- To process payments, prevent fraud and handle refunds and disputes.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To keep records we must keep for tax, accounting and legal reasons.
- To tell subscribers about important changes to products or these policies.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we don't send marketing from other companies. Free-brief emails include an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
4. Who else handles your information
We use these service providers only to run the site and the business. They process data on our behalf or, for payment, under their own terms:
- Stripe — payment processing, receipts, the customer portal, fraud screening. Stripe privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — website hosting and security, and email routing for [email protected]. Cloudflare privacy policy.
- Discord — our community server. Discord privacy policy.
- An email service provider — stores the email list and sends the brief and waitlist emails.
- Professional advisers (such as accountants or lawyers) and authorities, where we are legally required or need to protect our rights.
5. How long we keep it
Email-list data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it (we may keep a minimal record that you opted out so we don't email you again). Payment and invoice records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Support emails are kept while needed to help you and for a reasonable period afterwards.
6. Security
We use reputable providers and keep access limited, but no method of storing or sending data is perfectly secure.
7. Your rights (California / CCPA-CPRA)
If you are a California resident you can ask us to: tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it; give you a copy; correct it; or delete it. We don't sell or "share" personal information, so there is no opt-out to exercise. We will not treat you differently for making a request. Email [email protected] from the address we have for you; we may need to verify it's you, and an authorised agent may act for you with your written permission. We aim to respond within 45 days.
8. Your rights (EEA / UK / GDPR-style)
If you are in the EEA or UK you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (for example by unsubscribing). We use your data to perform our contract with you (delivering what you buy), because you consented (the email list), for our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, running the business) and to meet legal obligations. Our providers may process data in the United States; where required, transfers rely on approved safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Adults only
The site is for people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
10. Changes
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the current version. If we make a material change we will tell email subscribers.
11. Contact
Contact: [email protected]. We aim to reply within 2 business days. Related: Terms · Refund & cancellation policy.
