FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers, including the uncomfortable ones. Everything here is education and hypothetical backtest data — not advice, not a promise of results.

The product

What do I actually get?

Written rules documents (plain English: entry, exit, filters, stops), follow-along posts so you can see what a stack took and what it skipped, a weekly validation report, monthly updates, and a Discord role. Billing is not open yet — see the tiers.

Do I get Pine Script or TradingView indicator access?

No. Delivery is documents and follow-along posts only. We don't provide code or invite-only scripts, and nothing depends on a TradingView access list. You apply the written rules on whatever platform you trade.

Do you trade my account, manage money or copy trades?

No. We are not a broker, a registered investment advisor or a commodity trading advisor. Everything is education; you place your own orders and are solely responsible for your decisions.

Which platform or broker do I need?

Anything that lets you chart the relevant bars, set alerts and place orders on NQ/MNQ, ES/MES or GC/MGC. The rules are written platform-neutral. Fills in the backtests assume entry at bar close, which is hard to match exactly by hand — see the implementation guide in Education.

What is a “stack”?

Several validated strategies sharing one account. Whichever entry rule fires first while you are flat takes the trade; every other entry setup is skipped until it closes. Priority only breaks ties when two entry setups land on the same bar. See Stacks.

What is in the NQ, ES and GC stacks?

NQ: Connors RSI Reclaim + Supertrend Flip 1h + half-size VZO (backtest $106,248, PF 1.93, closed-trade DD $10,095, 245 trades). ES: B12_01 + B8_03 ($52,740, PF 2.06, DD $10,378, 82 trades) — the ES strategies share one dip-buy engine. GC: Coral + RSI2 Reclaim + Elder Force ($95,760, PF 1.82, DD $10,120, 260 trades) — but year 1 made only $460 and almost all profit came in year 2. All in-sample, one window. Details on each stack page.

What's the difference between Single Strategy, Instrument Stack and All-Instrument?

Single Strategy ($19/mo, planned) follows one strategy of your choice. Instrument Stack ($39/mo) is the NQ, ES or GC stack. All-Instrument ($79/mo) includes every stack plus the Daily Plan. Prices are placeholders until billing opens.

Rules pack or subscription?

A pack is a one-time dated document: no follow-along posts, no weekly validation, no updates. A subscription keeps you current as strategies are re-tested, flagged or replaced.

Results & risk

Are the backtest results what I will get?

No — expect worse. They are hypothetical backtests over one 2-year, strongly rising window with fills at bar close, and the strategies were selected on that same data. There are no live or forward results yet. See Performance.

Why do you show drawdowns so prominently?

Because drawdown, not profit, decides whether you can stay in a strategy. Every stat shows the closed-trade drawdown, and the sizing calculator uses it. A backtest drawdown is not a ceiling — live drawdowns can be deeper and longer.

Why are there year 1 / year 2 splits?

Because one blended number hides whether a strategy only worked in half the window. Several sets here earn most of their profit in year 2 (the GC Stack made 99.5% of its profit in year 2). We show that rather than bury it.

What does “in-sample” mean, and why does it matter?

The strategies, and the sets we show, were chosen using the same data they are measured on. That flatters the numbers. The best-looking NQ set was ranked from 372 subsets; a set picked from hundreds will look better than it deserves. Out-of-sample evidence is exactly what the forward track record is for.

Can I lose more than I put in?

Yes. Futures are leveraged; losses can exceed your deposit. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose. See the risk disclaimer.

What are Tier A and Tier B?

Tier A strategies pass the bar with better evidence. Tier B pass but are flagged fragile (year-1 losses, failed long-history validation, passes only at half size). Tier B is low priority and kept out of headline numbers.

Validation

How does weekly validation work — and does it protect me?

Each week every strategy is re-run on the latest data with the same costs and checked against the pass bar; statuses (Pass / Watch / Flagged / Removed) and changes are published. It is a process to catch strategies that stop working. It is not a guarantee and cannot predict the future. See the latest report and the validation page.

What if a strategy I follow gets removed?

It is announced in the weekly report. Single Strategy subscribers can switch their pick; stacks drop the member.

Do you publish bad news?

That is the point of the log: flagged and removed strategies, failed checks and corrections are listed, and past entries are not edited.

Is there a live track record?

Not yet. Forward tracking begins when stacks go live, and the page shows nothing until the results are real.

Using the strategies

How big an account do I need?

Results are shown per 1 full-size contract; single-strategy max drawdowns in the backtests range from roughly $4.4k to $14.8k. Use the position-sizing calculator: contracts = your drawdown budget ÷ the strategy's worst backtest drawdown per contract, rounded down. Micros exist for smaller accounts.

Can I use this on a prop-firm account?

Possibly, but check the firm's rules (max loss, consistency, news or automation restrictions) first. Treat the firm's maximum-loss limit as your drawdown budget, not the account's nominal size.

How do I know which entry to take in a stack?

First come, first served while you are flat. The follow-along posts show what was taken and what was skipped, so you can check your own log against it. See Implementation (includes a journal template).

Do the stacks trade by time slot?

No. The NQ strategies share one regular-session entry window and take turns first-come-first-served; gold has its own earlier window; ES B12_01 enters once mid-morning.

Billing & policies

When does billing open?

Not yet. Join the waitlist. No payment is collected on this site today and every buy / subscribe button is a placeholder.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Plan: monthly, cancel anytime in one step. You can ask for a refund of your first subscription payment within 7 days, and one-time packs are refundable within 7 days, no questions asked (billing is not open yet). Read the full Refund & cancellation policy. Trading losses or a gap between backtest and live results are not grounds for a refund.

Are testimonials or reviews shown?

Not yet — there are no subscribers. A testimonials section appears automatically only once real, consented testimonials exist. We won't write or buy any.

Free brief & community

Is the daily brief free?

Yes — the NQ & ES levels brief is planned to stay free, by email and in Discord. Each brief shows the as-of date of its levels and says when an instrument (currently ES) is not available; if levels are old the page labels them as stale. The Daily Plan examples stay labelled SAMPLE. See the Free Daily Brief.

Is there a Discord?

Opening soon — the invite link appears on the Discord page and in the footer once it is ready. No advice, no selling of trade calls and no profit-flexing are allowed there.
